Games that still doesnt work on faster CPU?

i know that using WHDLoad you can reach to make work a lot of games also on faster CPU than 68000/68020

but do you know of some good titles that still refuse to work with some faster CPU?

im mostly interested in the 68030 to 68060 field

perhaps u are interested which games don't work on the 040 and 060 because there is no compatibility difference between the 020 and 030

That is not true at all. A 030 is much faster than a 020, and even with leaving hardware changes aside, that can already break many games that do not correctly wait for the blitter.

The cpu core of a 030 is much like a 020. The added data cache can easily break things that don't take this into consideration though (this is normally not enabled when booting).

i know many here are on real (not emulated) stronger configuations

almost an empty page for me
i just have a default A1200, taken extra later in time, than the golden years

i like to read into the WHDLoad single game pages about all the chronological fixes

btw i think its a bit strange that some non properly too much old releases had issues in reach to boot on faster hw

ie Aladdin and Lion King seems to refuse to work correctly, booted from original disks on a A4000 (emulated) config

Aladdin doesnt reach the main menu with both 030 and 040;
Lion King seems working in 030, but the screen stays black in 040 (the audio is working instead)

probably some patches were released back in the day?

Test must be done with original ipf files, not cracked adf which contains intros often problematic with some advanced CPU and chipset.

the previous Aladdin and Lion King are both ipf tests

non ipf reasoning, i found most of the NOMAD fixes very reliable also in this matter, 'unlocking' the compatibility also for faster CPU

all the other called AGA fixes (adf's) in the Tosec, i presume were made to reach at least to start the game on a default A1200, but honestly they arent very reliable if you want ie complete the game itself

Exactly, so the best mode to play old games on faster CPU / better Chipset is WHDLoad.
