Seven Cities of Gold WHDLoad V2.1b Kick31034.a1000 missing

Hi guys,

I want start the WHDLoad version 2.1b from Seven Cities of Gold in WinUAE.

Error: Kick31034.A1000 is missing.

okay but where can I get one? I looked everywhere and also asked friends but none of them seem to have this version from the Kickstart.

Anyone an idea where to get it?

It's against the rules to ask for Kickstarts. You can buy e.g. the Amiga Forever package to get it.

"Kick31034.A1000" is Kickstart 1.1, btw. 31.34 is the revision.

well I am not asking for a specific Kickstart, I have all the kickstarts but none of the seem to work. I have the kick 1.1 btw. 31.34 but the result is the same.

Are there different revisions with different checksum?

Do you have a 31034.A1000.RTB file ?

Yes I have, because it was included in the WHDLoad file already.

Use either

Code:

amiga-os-110-pal.rom

from Amiga Forever or

Code:

Kickstart v1.1 r32.034 (1986-02)(Commodore)(A1000)(PAL)[!].rom

from TOSEC. CRC32 of the rom is EC86DAE2. Just rename it to

Code:

kick31034.A1000

The rtb file is in the WHDLoad archive.

I remember having this issue last year and the confusion arises as the Retroplay install is NTSC but it won’t work with the NTSC kickstart only the PAL.

Works for me now, but can anyone explain how to save/load the game?

Hmm, just tried but is doesn´t seem to work for me. When I am entering the Pub for saving, it is just showing up a message for a second but does not save to disk.

Is there any difference when playing the game vis WinUAE?
