Is the RGB2HDMI for only certain models of A600?

I have been trying to get my A600 hooked up with an RGB2HDMI, this is the second card that I have tried now and right away the adapter has seemed very lose so lose that as soon as I plugged in an HDMI cable the adapter came off. When I try to attach I hear a springy sound and the adapter is not tight or clipping on at all. I had this issue with another RGB2HDMI, is there a model of A600 that is not compatible with the RGB2HDMI?

I suspect that you're not pressing down hard enough when installing the adapter. We don't want to break our motherboards and tentatively connect them but PLCC adapters do need a bit of force.

Check for any clearance issues with any neighbouring components but you may have to consider removing the motherboard from the case so that you can lay it flat and apply more pressure without flexing the board.

If you're not happy with it... sell it and buy an Indivision ECS instead. They don't use the Denise directly they re-create a 2nd one in the FPGA/CPLD (which connects to a compatible trapdoor RAM card).

Thanks for the advice I took the mother board out and pressed hard but the card is still popping off, maybe I need to find a replacement again.
