Ultima V on A2286 Bridgeboard - Sound Patch
This is a quick post to make a note of how I got this working. Hopefully of use to someone in the future!
Following the instructions here: https://www.gog.com/forum/ultima_ser...ng_in_ultima_5 got me close but the A2286 is a 286, not a 386 and the u5cfg program requires a 386 for some reason (even though Ultima 5 does not). So I launched DosBox on a modern PC and using "mount c e:\" (e: being the CF card from my XT-IDE in the Amiga/A2286) I then was able to run the u5cfg program. I tested in DosBox and it worked. CF card back in XT-IDE in Amiga and now everything works fine. Hope this helps someone! |
