They're not even cycle exact because it turns out that modern FPGAs don't support underworld gates as part of their logic so you have to simulate one by chaining 7400-style logic in verilog.


Why Lattice didn't consider necromancy among their common use cases is beyond me.

And it doesn't just start at the Phylacterys either, the much dreaded and pervasive single button joystick engendering such poverty in game design.

Just imagine if CBM shipped every Amiga with a Ouji board as the game input device instead.
