I like the background visual effects in the menu! Also pumping soundtrack is very amiga-ish.

Looks and sounds good Will it be two player only or have a computer opponent option?

Either way it looks like a fun game I can imagine that it would be quite challenging to implement a computer opponent for such a fast paced game.

Looks promising, good work. A one-player mode would make it worthwhile for those of us who don't have fellow Amigans nearby (which, sadly, is most of us nowadays)

Yes, thats right. I have the same problem....maybe you can see in my video that i'm trying to control both ships...with minor success. My son loves the game too, but....that that would result in an even worse video That said, i really plan an cpu opponent mode. But it needs time. First i will release the two player version. Parts of my code are at least 15 years old, so i am happy that i managed to preserve it over time and be able to have a first version which is somehow playable. |

Love the music. I don't know what is going on half the time but that's the sign of a good arcade shooter

Thanks....i played around with protracker. The limitation for the ingame music was that i only had two channels (the others are used for sfx). So the music is a bit minimalistic, but i think it fits to the games athmosphere. |

Love the pure 1993 homebrew Amiga style of this 2023 Amiga game. Both the music and the sfx rock. I kept the YT video on many times just for the sound. Thanks for your contribution to come to our beloved real and emulated Amiga systems.

Thanks to all of you for your feedback. It's nice to hear that my game (and its soundtrack (-: ) suits to the taste of some amiga aficionado.
I think i'll have to do some minor bugfixing....and maybe implement one more weapon (already have some ideas). When this is done, version 1.0 will be released. |

That's a nice work. I once programmed a simple breakout (Arkanoid-like) game with MSX Basic and it was hard work (poor thing the disk didn't survive time). You would think it's simple, but it's not. And it didn't at all look and sound that smooth like your game.
Opponent-AI is a hard thing to program. Maybe some experienced programmer can give you some hints how to do it. Maybe even AI can give you hints (Chat-GPT) these days. |

I like the tune and gameplay looks like it would be fun in 2 player mode.
If you can't find Amiga friends, maybe some can at least drag their kids away from their tablets and phones for a while and let them have a go at some classic one on one arcade gaming. ;-) |
