Amiga Scene Still Images
Hi, I am looking for some collection of Amiga Still Images Art.
OCS or AGA. I would like them to be in original format. Not PNG etc. If there is none maybe we could make a collection. I already have a few. |

This site is nice There are still quite some scene images that are missing that I have from before. Maybe we should help with some updates to the site.

It seems both thumbnail of the Updates light bulb picture (and others) are stretched horizontally slightly. Stretching is different and seems to adapt to a fixed width. It's fair to scale to 1:1 pixel aspect, both for PAL and NTSC, both are not 1:1 but those interested will understand what they see, I think. The .iff link gives a Not Found. I've tried a few, but the files are not downloadable. It may be a redirect from http to https that breaks links? |

I have a small curated collection that I have been collecting a few years from various FTP sites, CDs etc. Most files are original, but some are converted from png->iff if I couldn't find the original file.
Maybe I could upload these somewhere if there is interest. Last edited by bni; 31 May 2023 at 20:18. |

Wow that 1986 Hires Interlaced IFF of the Star Destroyer https://amiga.lychesis.net/updates/2023-05-22.html I remember reading that thread about Amiga Vs Atari ST for productivity and how bad the interlaced screen was. He managed to push on and create a masterpiece, although to be fair you could magnify with m key on Deluxe Paint. Unless it was drawn with Graphicraft Last edited by redblade; 06 June 2023 at 23:29. Reason: Added lychesis star destroyer link |

The ST supported 320x200 and double horizontally in hires. Interlace was not used in 1986 and buying a monochrome monitor was an option for ST. Maybe not for many in 1986, but at least a year or two later. |
