DEVS:Dosdrivers and Smilies
I know there's probably not an easy global way to address just this issue on the site (and probably not worth it, I know), but I do laugh a bit every time I see it on this forum.
Because it's not uncommon for people to type: DEVSosdrivers And get the smiley instead of colon D... There might be others much more infrequently, but that one seems to come up fairly regularly here in Amigaland... ;-) |

Under Additional Options there is an option that just need to be enabled (choice of the user):
[ ] Disable smilies in text |

Thanx,
Yeah, I figured there were some user options for that. Just was wondering if there was a global (maybe disable just that smiley?), as this specific one comes up a fair amount. No biggie, it is funny every time I see it. ;-) Just know that wasn't the intent of the person posting it. ;-) |

If the person posting doesn't want :D to be parsed as , they can surround the part with and .
and
should also work.
