haha lol because I don't believe in all this mystic shit so at least let's be provocative.
Besides when I created my gmail account "jotd" alone was taken (who dared to do this?). I wasn't going to add "1234" to it what would it look like? |

no, it should run. I tested in on winuae like that. But maybe there are issues with the hardware. I used Shaun Southern OS/kill system code it may be broken.

My A1200 use a CF ide with 3 partitions and Kick 47.96 (3.2) hardware.
I disabled 2 partitions at boot (without startup-sequence) and run the file "sc2" in the Supercars2AGA/Data directory of WHDLoad installed game. |

It's probably the access time of CF which is the problem. I also have a CF IDE, going to test that.
bingo: it doesn't work lol. Got to add delays maybe. On WinUAE this worked perfect. This is where whdload is way better, but there my aim was to be able to use the game on 2MB chip only. |

Was about to say the DOS mode isn't loading, but seems its been reported, black screen on CD32 too, with fastram it shows the Gremlin logo but stays black after that.

I know. It would only work on winuae HD. Hardly representative.
a bit of work to reduce memory usage and it runs on unexpanded CD32 with CD32load No flashing screens, just perfect (didn't test on the real hardware, I'm a bit short on CDs that work...) Also runs on unexpanded A1200 (2MB chip, no fast) with whdload with CF IDE card. Some flashes on load but runs. And looks even faster in PAL than on my 68060. So new version runs on unexpanded A1200 (whdload) and CD32 (cd32load). That's really great! https://jotd666.itch.io/supercars-2-aga Last edited by jotd; 17 April 2022 at 18:27. |

I just published a new version on itch: https://jotd666.itch.io/supercars-2-aga
It's really worth upgrading because of the huge FMODE=3 speed up (which was not that easy to adapt, and thanks to Ross for help with screen settings & centering). I just tested previous version, then newest version. Previous version was slowing down when there were a lot of cars (slightly improved by NTSC mode) whereas the new version doesn't slow down, and looks smoother than the ECS original too. I had great fun playing that one tonight. |

Nice Downloaded. Will test later today. When I tested supercars 2 in recent times the ting that annoyed me was the speed or the sluggish controls.
