Settings UI Scaling Issues

When loading WinUAE for the first time, the configuration UI displays as it should.

After booting and pressing F12 to access the UI, it is no longer scaled correctly and is largely unusable. However, pressing the “Restart” button restores the UI to appear as it should. The attached screenshot shows how the UI appears when pressing F12.

Windows 11, desktop is running in 4K. In Windows display settings, scaling is set to 300% (recommended). Display is nVidia 3090ti running latest WHQL drivers.

If I switch Windows desktop resolution to match AmigaOS resolution (1600x900), the problem goes away.

To make matters even more complicated, I just went to see what happened if I switched Windows desktop back to 4K. I had the WinUAE settings window open as I did this, and text inside the client area of the UI was too small to read after resolution change.

So, I reloaded WinUAE and the UI was munged on startup. Screenshot attached.

Does it also happen if you untick Misc panel "Resizable GUI"?

This looks like Windows ages old annoying "feature" where exclusive fullscreen forces desktop windows to move around and/or resize..
