“More Compatible” checkboxes
Since our ultimate goal is to be as compatible as possible to real Amiga hardware, are these checkboxes still necessary given the negligible performance impact they have? It would also tidy up the UI a bit, which can’t hurt.

Yes. More compatible adds CPU pipelining/prefetch emulation which can increase host CPU requirements significantly when using 68020 CPU. (It is much less with 68000/010)
It also has "side-effect" of enabling address errors (and bus errors which are not used in Amigas normally) when using 68000/010 CPU. It can be useful to have 68000/010 CPU that does not care about odd word/long accesses. |
