Pimiga - Raspberry piu 400 display settings
Hi all
Just installed Pimiga on my Pi 400 and its pretty good and runs fine. Only issue is the screen doesn't fit on my 19" LCD screen. Wondering where I can change the config to shrink the size down? (the monitor/screen adjustment doesnt do it enough to fit it ) |

Pimiga 1.5 or have you moved to the new 2.0.
If you get stuck you can always reach out to Chris via his youtube channel or his post on FB or on Discord Really looking forward to spending some time using 2.0 just need some spare time and hopefully seeing my couple of boot screens pop up... |

I watched his 2.0 video, it looks great and I might buy a Pi 400 but there is only a torrent link atm which I can't get, hopefully it will end up on archive.org soon like 1.5

Why can't you get torrent?
For me personally PiMiga is a bit too much. I would prefer if Christ focuses more on stability then amount of stuff installed. (and yes, I watched YT video for RPi2) You can't be serious and suggest to use Save State with PiMiga 2.0.... @khisanth - what resolution is your monitor? |

Can't download torrents on my network
Pi 400 does look great value for the money, I have a couple of RPi3's for old gaming. Is the keyboard ok to use? |

Keyboard is more like laptop keyboard and size-wise is closer to ZX Spectrum than C64/Amiga. You can connect 2 HDMI monitors, otherwise it is identical to RPi4, with bit faster clock speed due to aluminum cover inside case used to disperse heat from CPU.
I used mine with PiMiga and Batocera / Lakka general emulation. Only thing I have not used it - as regular computer. Have too many laptops for that purpose. |

I like the 400, and for pimiga 2.0 there are pinned instructions on hdmi settings on Chris's Discord server.... loving pimiga 2. I'm waiting for my greaseweazel to give me a real floppy drive.

You probably need to change the overscan settings in rasp pie.
You can use this video to see how you can do it. The relevant info is at 3m mark [ Show youtube player ] |

Pimiga is great although I had to edit a settings file as it was forcing 30hz on my TV! Yuck. I also had overscan issues. Now it slightly goes off the edges of my TV but I can live with that because my TV in 1991 was just as bad!

Looking forward to checking out v3, especially since it sounded like the focus was on polish and tracking down crashes and other stuff at least from what I had read somewhere.

It boots underlying Linux OS with desktop and adds host-run to start Linux apps like Firefox via AmigaOS icons. In addition update of WHDLoad games and demos and polishing and cleanup. Looking forward to test it.
