I really need some help understanding libraries etc

Hi all!

I recently wrote a tiny slideshow program in Amos Pro 2.0, nothing special, just 3 images and a mod file.
I am trying to get it to boot from a disk....and I am struggling.
I know I am doing something wrong.

I have learned how to edit the text file using ED to create a startup file that points to my program...but I can't seem to understand how to include the libraries onto the disk too.
I know this is super basic, but I feel I am finally getting somewhere with Amos but this very basic problem is putting me off and I really would love some help understanding how this whole 'standalone' version work.

A youtube video would be amazing, if someone had the time/energy/inclination to produce one to helpe people like myself.
I guarantee once I figure it out though I will be doing the sme for others because I bet I can't be the only one who can't get past this first hurdle.

Apologies for how stupid I must sound, but I have always wanted to learn Amos Pro and I am incredibly proud that I got a simple slideshow to work within the editor, I would love nothing more than to make it as an adf so I could get it to run on real hardware.

Thank you so much for your time.

libraries go into the folder Libs
the only question is which library files..
snoopdos.. run that.. then run the program you wrote and it will tell you which libraries its trying to load and where its looking.

Thank you

I couldn't get that program to work, so I have been tinkering with setting within the compiler itself. It's not immediately obvious which boxes to tick, so trail and error got me the results I needed.
Thank you very much though.

There's still an annoying reddy-brown screen that flashes up between each IFF that gets displayed. I'd like to get rid of that though

You can include the library in the compiled program or include it separately. Including it in the compiled program takes up more ram. You can get get rid of the default Amos screen with an option in the complier as well.
