But the idea was to have it old-style. And by that I mean everybody patiently waits until the next issue to check their answers. No posting of the answers here. ..........or......... This is my ULTIMATE X-Word idea: Make it a bloody big double-A4 crossword. Have one of those X-Words where there are say 20 grey squares which form an anagram. So you have to complete 99% of the crossword to fill in those squares, then solve the anagram. Having this one word is all you would need to submit to APOV to prove you had done the X-Word. It also makes APOV's job easier. CAPS teams up with APOV (maybe some free advertising! ). Winner gets the prize of a game that CAPS has dumped and no longer requires. To enter the competition you have to send APOV a postcard by snail mail with the answer on - this keeps it old style. Winner is randomly picked postcard with correct solved anagram on it. Winner gets the CAPS game with box etc... (maybe has to pay postage). With all the humourous postcards APOV recieves it could scan them and have a postcards of the month section too. Just an idea |

Jim you are fast becoming Mr PR around here, organising little social events. Next we'll have a full blown party! What happened to those EAB tshirts, perhaps one of them could be part of the prize.
