Hi there.
New on here but used to be a seasoned Amiga veteran when it was in its heyday...Started off with a 500, then a 2000 and finishing off with an A4000. Sold it about 10 years ago and it was pretty maxed out then.....since then ive dabbled in the emulation stuff using Amiga forever and a Mister which i currently own, but, looking to get another amiga again and theres one not far away from me....in fact over the road at my mother in laws house and its quite a monster....me and my brother-in-law had identical machines but where i moved house and had to sell mine to pay for building materials etc etc he put his in the loft which is where it currently sits...so currently trying to get him to let me have it....spec as follows (and this is from memory as ive not seen it for a long time)
A4000 in aftermarket tower. 060 accelerator card with PPC cpu and scsi III bus (made by a german company but i cant remember the name of them but they didnt make many of them) 8meg of ram (but i might be wrong there). Picasso card with all the additional modules installed. Other stuff like extra cd drives and what not....if i can get my hands on it and i know this is going to be a stretch is to find an original case!! If i can get it - ill have a lot more to talk about!! |

Hi ComfySofa and welcome to EAB
Fingers crossed that you can convince your brother-in-law to let you have that A4000. Would be a shame if it would stay in that loft. |

Welcome. Give the man a crate of beers and a couple of bottles of whiskey. That should do it.
