I've done timing fixes to 2B boards & seen no difference....
I tried AmigaKit's Buffered affair.... A1200/A600 4XIDE BUFFERED IDE INTERFACE with FASTIDE A1200 ADAPTER FOR 4XIDE INTERFACE I could not boot in anything other than PIO 0 & I couldn't enable or save anything at desktop. - Again my DKB Mongoose SCSI Firmware....  I even tried an Elbox FAST ATA v5 & sent that back because I could not get it to work. - Yep, you guessed it....my DKB Mongoose SCSI Firmware.... Card is pimped out with Full 50Mhz 030 & FPU with 128Mb 50ns ram & Rocks at anything it's capable of running. Loving the Indivision MK3 as well.  Anyhow, I'm happy with two Industrial CF's on the A1200 Header as is considering everything and anything to do with my DKB Mongoose SCSI Firmware....
