CD 32 Lid glass (fensterglas) replacement

Hi, does anyone know if/where replacement window panels are available for the CD32 lid? (see photo of my cracked one!) They were available a while ago at Amistore.de and at Vesalia, but Amistore seems to be no more, and Vesalia lists them as out of stock with no expected re-stock date. Would appreciate any help if anyone knows where to get these.

No but I need one so would love to know! Lots I've seen on Ebay have this broken, not sure how people manage it but one I bought has a chip. Does it just glue in to place?

Hey str0m, they have a double-sided tape on the inner face which attaches the glass (polystyrene I think actually) to the grey lid frame. There are videos on how to replace them if you're able to find one. I'm thinking of calling a friend who makes acrylic shop fittings to see if he can fabricate one for me... here's a link to one of the "how to" videos... [ Show youtube player ]

ah thanks. I've had a look online and can only find the old links you mentioned. Lots of CD32s I've seen on Ebay etc have broken/cracked ones, no idea how but suggests a market for them so it would be good if you could get one made up. I guess the issue is the curve and the black section
