Terriblefire 536 compatible CF cards

Hello ! This is my first thread/post in the forum.
I have an Amiga 500 v.1,6 with 1mb chip ram.
Recently I’ve decided to install a terrible fire 536 with an 16 gb cf card.
Could you please tell me which cf cards are compatible -tested with terrible fire 536?
Thanks in advance.

If in doubt, use a microSD->IDE adapter instead of a CF->IDE adapter.

16gb could be a problem. I mostly use 4gb or less cards, as original scsi.device wich is in KS3.1 has that limit.

What it does when you try to partition it?

If you could try any other card. I believe it should boot even if card doesn't work. All cards I have tried has worked.

Yes. The microsd-> IDE adapter implements the PATA IDE bridge in the adapter whereas the CF->IDE adapters are passive and the CF card implements the bridge. So CF cards vary in compatibility from card to card.

Check that the pins on the CF adapter (particularly the ones going from the CF slot to the PCB) have been soldered properly by poking them with a pick or similar to see if they move. I had a bad time with CF cards on my 536 until I found that both of my adapters had loose pins, reflowing them resolved the issue.
