Definitely have to agree on Micro Machines 2. That game is simply amazing and there is no technical reason it couldn't have been done on Amiga.
I would like to add: Inca - "multimedia" title, the music would have been great on Amiga Battle Isle 2 - was initially even announced, I think Command HQ - this one would grace any system, obviously Fantasy Empires - the prequel was available on Amiga, why not the sequel? |

Blizzard's Blackthorne would be a game I think could have done well on the Amiga in it's heyday. It is the kind of game we just like to play. Exploration, prince of persia-esque platforming, shoot some orcs... yeah.

We got Head Over Heels, so why not Batman?
Knight Lore and Alien 8 would be nice too. I wanted to play these two games but couldn't stand the massive slowdown when several moving objects overlapped. The Amiga would have no problem doing them at full speed with more colors! |

Oh yeah Albion is a good one. The 3D sections might have been a dealbreaker at the time though, it would have made it unlikely the game would be considered for the A500 line.
... I think the 3D sections stink anyway, so who knows, we might have gotten a better fully 2D game |

Unreleased, as we know. What's the point? Are you trying to say that "well actually, it was considered because it was at some point in development." ? Or did you want to point my attention to the little footnote which says "abandoned to be released on the PC" which kind of backs up what I say? |

Agree on the music and like the way that they still have the ZX Spectrum beeper sound effects!

I spent last night playing Black Thorne on SNES and I must say: Amiga would make it well, BUT with CD32 controller. No way to play this with 1-button joystick.

Jungle Book, Urban Strike and Heart of Darkness could have had a brilliant AGA version in my opinion.
And although Championship Manager 2 was actually released in a very questionable state as a disk only nonsense, with a nice 030 and HDD optimized version it could have been huge. |
