A lot of nifty scripting has been cooked up over the years and having used Linux and bash scripting for a long time, sed was natural and easy to modify files, create scripts etc. Without Aminet I'm not sure this would have been possible to make. |

Same issue, either I have not got the modified download or the error persists. The website says "Latest stable: v1.6.1 (2022-01-01 20:15 CET)" is that the modified version? I checked the CRC too and they are identical to the version I had before.

I'm having an issue whereby I can't install OS3.2 even though I've it selected in the package filtering options, all options there remain green even though I've selected just 3.2 and I can't seem to highlight only one option individually. Once HST starts it proceeds to install 3.9 + boing bags 1 and 2 instead.

Do you have a cd-rom inserted in a drive or any iso files attached showing with a drive letter in file explorer? If yes, then remove or eject them. If you have multiple Amiga OS in your selected Amiga OS directory, try reducing them to just Amiga OS 3.2 adf files. |

I have setup all files and directories via setup.cmd and also started the installation given the option there too. Removing the OS3.9.iso and it's two boing bag updates resulted in the installation proceeding as normal for 3.2 until the following error occurs during installation? All downloads are hosted via CDN which could hold a cached version, so could be it didn't notice the update i made. Just downloaded both HstWB Installer portable with and without packages and they contain the fix. |

You can see this in the powershell window a few lines before is says starting emulator. I don't see this with Kickstart 3.2 (47.96) (A1200) kicka1200.rom from Amiga OS 3.2 rom directory. |

It seems it's using Kickstart 3.1 rom according to the log window though I do have the 3.2 rom (kicka1200.rom) in the kickstart folder. Does HST also support the Kickstart 3.2.1 rom? - A1200.47.102.rom

I found additional bugs using install mode and fixed them, one of them is the issue with Amiga os dir containing multiple Amiga os resulting in eg. install of Amiga os 3.9 when selecting 3.2. It will be preparing release v1.6.2 later tomorrow with these fixes. |

I noticed this problem too, perhaps HST could be updated to have dedicated folders for each AmigaOS release instead of having everything stored under the "amigaos" folder. So perhaps - amigaos/3.1, amigaos/3.2 etc...

This is Fantastic!
I particularly enjoyed the number of new useful packages, including the WHDLoad Beta&Magazines, AmigaTestKit and many others. I could only think of the WHDLoad Cracktros. Many many thanks for the great work! |

One suggestion regarding installation of Locales under 3.2, would it be possible to have a requester asking the user to specify which locale(s) to install rather than HST installing all locales as installing all these can take some time and isn't really necessary.

1. Open launcher.cmd and replace all of it with Code:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -nologo -Noninteractive -WindowStyle Hidden -File launcher.ps1 Try running launcher again. |

There is already a way of limiting locales, just delete the locale .adf files you don't want installed. I usually only have following .adf files for a minimal install of amiga os 3.2 for A1200:
And following .adf files for a minimal install of amiga os 3.2.1 for A1200:
This makes amiga os 3.2 + 3.2.1 install much faster. Locale adfs are quite slow to unpack. Last edited by cyberhead97; 09 January 2022 at 23:46. Reason: List of adf fixed |
