Freescale 68060 Rev 6 CPUs + overclock kit
Selling FreeScale MC68060RC50 CPUs with latest mask (71E41J) full MC variant (with FPU and MMU), they are used and have marks but I have personally tested and verified each CPU to run at 80MHz, in some gear with proper cooling they've seen running at 110MHz (not tested). They are the best available genuine version.
Asking $180 for one kit, plus $20.50 shipping anywhere in the world. Kit includes: - FreeScale 68060 Rev 6 (71E41J) CPU - Brand new low profile heatsink with built in 5V fan, including adhesive pad - 80 MHz crystal - CPU puller tool Last edited by tbtorro; 19 April 2018 at 21:14. |

Hmmm... I have a spare 68060 71E41J I bought from Salocinx a few months back but haven't used. No overclock kit, although I also have a spare A3660. Would either of those do for you?

I would like another Rev6 060, but I won't pay more than I have for the last couple which I bought in the last few years at around $125 shipped. With the semiconductor shortage and covid concerns I will be willing to pay an additional $10 for a grand total of $135. Who's got me?

I have read in other threads about the Motorola riots where people are tearing limbs off of each other and eating babies for a Rev6 060, I won't go that far. So I will increase my max amount $15 to $150.

So how's this working out for you so far. Got yourself a Rev 6 060 for $150 yet?

So he can go back in time to buy them at the price he wants. Probably doesn’t realise that Motorola don’t make the chips anymore and neither do Freescale |

It's Mr Sarcastic. He knows. :-) /waves at @grelbfarlk.
It's now cheaper to get a 450MHz G4 for your big box PCI bridge. |

I don't have another rev6 060 yet. If worst comes to worse, I could pull one out of one of the WarpEngines. But like my Rev 0s and Rev 5s I'm a little concerned whether they'll actually run at 60-66MHz ok. So easiest thing to do is get another rev6.
@Hedeon, haven't you heard, PPC is dead and they aren't making more of these. Therefore even if your PPC is 10x faster than a Rev6 060, you can't get them that cheap. It's a fact™ Last edited by grelbfarlk; 15 December 2021 at 07:29. |

Hedeon's talking about one of those 68450 for $169 which is more than five times better.
