A huge challenge to all the Amiga coders/hackers out there! (EXILE (1991))
Not sure where to post this, but I have an open request to any talented coders/hackers out there: There's a superb little game called Exile that came out in 1991. The whole game is massive but there aren't any levels or lives or anything... just one huge planetary map... that I've always loved the idea of seeing!
Now the problem is that the map is made up of tiles so it would take some ingenious coder to figure out how to transform this old OCS game's map into something seperate so a whole picture can be taken of it. Any ideas, suggestions, volunteers? Let me know! http://www.mobygames.com/game/sheet/p,19/gameId,9379/ Thanks to anyone who can get their head around this mammoth challenge! - John Last edited by JohnnyWalker; 14 June 2005 at 15:00. |

I think the CARE forum could be the right place for it. I can move the thread if you want.
For the first information you can have a look at my little homepage. I will do something similar with Pirates! in the near future. I think it's the same principle. Just one big map containing "bricks" of gfx. Maybe I will have a look on Exile later but I'm busy at the moment. Indeed it's a funny game... |
