I have now tried disabling my Blizzard 1230 (by holding '2' down after rebooting) and I still can't get this to work
Here's my specs in more detail in case it triggers any red flags. Blizzard 1230 Mk4 030+FPU with SCSI expansion and 128MB Fast RAM. PCMCIA Ethernet card. Indivision AGA Mk3 Flicker fixer. Clockport clock & temp sensor. I'm aware WHDLoad doesn't like network connections and I have this set to disable when using it. But anyway the floppy version doesn't work either so I guess that rules that out as an issue... Last edited by stylon; 22 May 2021 at 11:49. |

Thanks for confirming pal. I'll have to patch up the downloads soon. Seems if younuse hires sprites in workbench it can balls stuff up, which I kinda thought whdload would deal with but apparently not.

Had a bit of a blast, *very* nice port! Love the expanded music and sounds. I added NoAutoVec, NoVBRMove and NoCache to get it working on my 060 (might not have needed all the options, just what I usually add)

Ahhh spoke too soon, the save game only saves a game at the very beggining of the level it doesn't save where you are exactly in the level. Perhaps it is only supposed to save at the begging of each level?? I'm not good enough to have completed the first level yet
Might add them in just in case. Do you know exactly what all those do? I have looked at WHD load guide lots of times but I still dunno what have those tool types do. |

Nope, that is functioning as expected. The readme explains this but you'll notice the words checkpoint in the hidden when to enter the elevator. When that happens your game progress is stored. Saving just stores that checkpoint.

Beautiful porting congratulations !!!
Tested on Amiga1200 with V1200 the game does not start from floppy but works from HD. I only have a problem with the Joypad, I keep firing automatically making it impossible to play and use the settings. |

Hard to know what the problem is without knowing what pad you're using but I suspect this might be because you're in cd32 pad mode. Try switching it to joystick mode instead.

True I have not reported that I use PAD ... KIPPER2k converter with DualShock2 (configured CD32). The pad works normally like a real CD32, this is the first time this autofire thing has happened to me. I can't move between the settings as the game starts automatically. |

Oh that's super annoying as it plays much nicer with all the buttons available to hand. Not sure what the issue is there, maybe test the pad with that joypad test app thing to see if it's triggering there.

AmyMor, try another CD32 gamepad.
PSX Adapters work differently according to A1200 motherboard revision. Game works on V4SA too, well done h0ffman, really great work ! |

I have now completely removed my Blizzard, my PCMCIA card, and my clockport expansion and it still won't load off the floppy. It appears to load, drive heads click half a dozen or so times, pause and then click once more and then that's it.
The only thing I haven't removed is the Indivision Mk3 but really cannot see how that would have any impact anyway. Really at a loss now. Have even created (and successfully validated) another brand new floppy and goet the same result. Clutching at straws now really. My A1200 is a revision 1.D.4 ¯\_(?)_/¯ |

However I have a sneaking suspicion it could well be the scan doubler. The screen mode used is 256x212 to match the msx rather than the default 320x256. Not really sure how those work to be honest but if the composite output isn't affected then it might be worth checking output from there. Edit: seems there's a config tool for that, might need that resolution adding to it. Last edited by h0ffman; 22 May 2021 at 17:12. |

In that case I just need to progress a little further before its's of any use to me And just for the record I'm using a PSX to Amiga adapter and the pad functions perfect as CD32 so all buttons working well. Thanks again h0ffman |
