3D printed rear pane for Checkmate A1500+

I treated myself to a 3D printer for Christmas and have been chipping away at how to print items successfully and how to model them in Fusion 360. I thought I would share todays success... (3hr print):

A rear panel for my Checkmate A1500+
  • Houses JR45 socket from my ACA500+ X-Surf-500
  • Easier access to SD card ACA500+

I also printed off a stand for my Gotek so I could house it internally alongside my DF0. It is a tight squeeze with the ACA500+ but I can just about do it. Needed a little work to fit and to open up the screw holes for my rear panel, the print went a little wonky one end but it is all internal so you cannot see it. Did not take into account the need to hollow out the card reader hole and I need to hot glue the reader in place.

Not bad for a first try. I pinched models from elsewhere and mixed them with my own. Fusion 360 is weird.

Not bad at all.

I've been 3D printing for a couple of years, it's never easy, but it's hardest in winter when cold drafts are common.

Hope you'll share your designs.

Thank you. I am setup in the office with the computers at the moment so nice and warm but it will need to get relegated to the garage soon.

Note: My rear panel is not perfect.

We just need someone to make Amiga coloured filament. People get upset when I grind down cases to feed into my Filastruder.
