Slaves removed from WHDLoad site
From the WHDLoad news:
Quote:
I feel like if you submit a slave, it should become a part of history unless someone releases an updated version, but that's ultimately Wepl's decision. Anyway, from what I'm seeing the list of slaves is: Demo: Masterpieces (Kefrens) Demo: Rampage (The Electronic Knights) Demo: Boris Vallejo (Apocalypse Bay) Demo: Metal & Lace (Apocalypse Bay) Demo: Checked Implosion (Intryx) Demo: Black'n White (Pentagon) Demo: Sweltering Forest (Apocalypse Bay) I'm not expecting anyone to redo the slaves, but I thought I'd mention that these slaves are no longer available. |

Odd, I would imagine they'll be redone by others in no time at all, so that will undo the unnecessary damage by VRS!
Childish behaviour EDIT: I'm guessing VRS! is the original coder Vars0 of the Apocalypse Bay productions, still doesn't explain why he would want them deleted. Last edited by Galahad/FLT; 27 December 2020 at 17:55. |

Nothing what Stingray could patch anyway, if he is bored at some point.

If Stingray redoes them, the new version will probably be better since demofixing is not the easiest and Stingray has the biggest experience here. |

I did notice that message but hadn't heard of him and wasn't aware of what he had created slaves for.
Seemed a bit strange to me. |

Its not a decision I can respect at all, its just a completely pointless exercise. |

In other news: the Masterpieces patch has been redone already, once I have created the icons/install package, it should be available again on the WHDLoad site. Most probably tomorrow I guess. |

Finding the old patches on the net is no problem but that doesn't make them available again on the WHDLoad site.
![]() First removed patch (Masterpieces by Kefrens) has been redone and added to the WHDLoad site again. Others will follow in due time. |

yeah, whdload should be the reference. I was sure that Sting would be interested in rewriting everything. He just likes to rewrite everything anyway
![]() As a bonus, I'm pretty sure that the new slaves will work better than the old ones. Demos are harder to fix. Sometimes even Toni gives up fixing winuae for some. |
