I have a Raspberry Pi 3 sitting in a box somewhere, never even thought of using it as an Amiga.
I'll give it a try! Nothing wrong with emulation, a nice little 'portable' Amiga! |

There's a some promising things on the horizon for the Pi in relation to Amiga and Amiga Next Gen assuming they ultimately materialise but of course this is all hobby stuff so there's no guarantees on anything.

I should get around to testing amibian for the full experience. Up until now I've been kept happy with retropie and launching whdload games but amibian looks very interesting!

With the NEW Raspberry Pi 400 out now with A500 style all in one keyboard, its time for an FPGA add on for the custom chips. It would be nice to have for £100 https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/raspberry-pi-400 |

I've not had any luck with getting the 'A'-miga key working on a pi400 when using amiberry. I believe it's mapped to the right windows or menu key which seems to be missing on the pi400. The next version of amiberry will support mapping it to a key of your choice.
I bought a pi400 mainly to use with amiga emulation. I have a little setup with it connected to a vga crt and it's very nice. Doesn't diminish my yearning for a real A1200, but still a lot of fun! |

Amikit is due out shortly with a pi400 version. That should be interesting. And yes they key mapping is a bit irritating
