Hi....Does anybody know if it is possible to obtain replacement mach131 chip for apollo-1240 cards ?

There is no official support as the owner of Apollo designs is Jens Schoenfeld (aka Individual Computers) - he wants to get rid of them. Just try to check all possible forums.

I would also need some. Based on what I've heard, Jens is not actually willing to sell replacements.

To be a bit more specific, mach131 chips are super easy to get on ebay, but the appropriate code needed for the Apollo cards is what Jens wont release willingly.
Maybe if you buy one of his most expensive ACA cards first, he'll be willing to sell the code to you ;-) |

If you have a working mach130 chip, but you need mach131 to reach 100MHz 060. You could ask around if anyone might swap boards with you with a cash incentive. Perhaps someone who isn't planning on overclocking or sticking to their 040 might come forward.
There is some evidence you can reach 80MHz with mach130 version of board FW |
