CDTV CD1321 display problem

Hey, friends!

I connected my CDTV to my TV via SCART through the CDTVs CD1321 module. Whilst the picture is perfectly crisp and clear, the screen 'refreshes' in a somewhat erratic pattern. Every few seconds, the screen goes black but comes back shortly after.

Am I missing something?

Sounds like your LCD screen doesn't like the Amiga refresh rate or the voltages of the CD1321.

Does it work with other Amiga's?

Try an RGB SCART cable on the regular Amiga 23-pin connector?

I really wanted a CD1321. They used to be really cheap at vesalia. Shame they are all sold out now :-(

I was lucky enough to get one. Unfortunately, I do not have an RGB-SCART cable right now, but I'll order one now to try it out.

Make sure you get one made to the Ian Steadman wiring standard. Modern non-crt TV are more fussy over voltage levels

Quick update TWIMC: I bought an HDMI upscaler from Amazon, and it now works completely fine with the CD1321 module. Seems like some LCDs are indeed quite picky when it comes to refresh rates and voltages on SCART.
