Record Keys for automation
Hi
I would like to recorder keys that I press when I playing a game. Finally, the 'recording file' is saved and It's possible to play it from beginning in the chosen game. I use only My Keyboard with WinUae (not joystick). I tryning to recorder with TinyTask but don't work Has anyone ever done this before? |

Forgot to reply, sorry..
It isn't that simple. Recording needs to be cycle-accurately synced to input events and it is much much much (...) more complex than it appears to be. There is input recording in misc panel which attempts to do it but it never has worked properly, it will lose sync sooner or later. It is different when using some application or slow paced game where timing does not need to be cycle-accurate and should be relatively easy to add. (But even if game is slow paced, it may have lots of internal timers, like getting bonus life when internal count is xyz and if some input event that was received before the trigger during recording but when playing back happens 1 cycle later, event may be ignored if game has some extra animation etc when it happens. After that things go wrong very soon..) |
