Rather than PM you I am hoping you see this thread as it would be a nice resource for people.

I just played Arabian Nights CD32 whdload and saw that you patched the cd32 controls to the keyboard and they work so well. What other games do you remember doing keyboard controls for?

I do not really remember.

But it seems to me that an old version of Slave Soccer kid used that (and other old slaves for CD32 games.

In fact Arabian Nighst slave loads an old command very badly coded by me and never updated!!!:
patch_cd32joy ON

source code provided in the archive of the Arabian Nights slave.

this command patches lowlevel.library.

But for the futur slave updates, it is better to update Jotd's excellent Kick32 emul provided in the whdload developer archive.

Indeed if the CD32 game uses lowlevel.library (not always the case for example Quik does not use it). Jeff (JOTD) has already coded a generic CD32Pad buttons emulator via keyboard .

It's a generic code, but from memory the directions are not emulated via the keyboard (to check)

if this is not already emulate it is very easy to update for future cd32 slave updates ...

However, if the game code does not use lowlevel.library you have to make a special code for that.

you can try using Nantis to ask the author of each Slave if he would agree to add this possibility.

You are right is my old JST version (not released which used cd32pad full emulation via keyboard)
