Ok - i see what's happened, of all the DIP-64 packages - I've gone and selected the ultra-wide one that no-one ever uses -_-

@project23 - i'll do a respin and a new batch of boards, and send you one of these, if you still want to be a guinea pig for it?

What programmer would one use with ATF1502ASV? Would a normal PIC3 do the job?
