Recently got myself a PS2 ,stripped down and cleaned it up, bought around 25 games , then discovered the joys of adding a HD adapter and 400gb hard drive to it, happy days.
also bought all my old favourite PS1 games to also play on it as the PS2 plays all PS1 games, a fact i never knew until a couple of weeks ago. some PS1 games ive been hammering... Need for Speed 1 - 3 Duke nukem series command & conquer and C&C Red Alert Grand theft auto and quite a few others. its getting quite packed around my CRT TV area now lol |

I just bought...
1 x ($11.95) CF Memory Card - High Speed Compact Flash Industrial CF Card 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB 64GB fromEC2world for $11.95 @ Newegg. And 4 IDE 40wire ribbon cables from eabay for my Buddha to play around with because all I can find is 80 wire cables and the controller can't use those. The CF cards were cheap and I get several sizes + they are marked as industrial so should be recognized as fixed, not removable. Hopefully they'll work on the buddha as I bought a 2 gig and 4 gig with the same generic label before and the 4gb is recognized. For the price I think it's worth the gamble. |

Lately I have made some shopping.
I bought Art Effect 4, from Alinea, only 14,95€ https://www.amiga-shop.net/Amiga-Sof...ct-4::142.html Adapter for Two Internal Floppy Disk Drives in A1200 Tower Conversions from Vesalia. I have no idee what I would do with this. I do have a A1200 tower, but would I need a second disk drive?? https://www.vesalia.de/m0e_micronik.htm 64kb internal ram expansion for a my COmmodore 16 computer from amibay. This is another, "do I really need this" buy. I have A Commodore 4plus computer already. http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...erboard-modify!) I also bought a Mikornic's Amiga keyboard and Lyra 3 because I'm considering towering my second Amiga 1200. For that project I also bought ATX power connector from Ian Stedman's shop. http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Sales/sales.html I would ne a tower conversion kit. Elbox has one sale, but it is expensive and ugly. Any other options? I bought for my Sinclair Spectrum's interface 2 a game cartridge from Antonio Villena's shop https://www.antoniovillena.es/store/...if2-cartridge/ Last edited by utri007; 09 July 2019 at 23:15. |

It was yesterday that I bought a NOS Quickshot Chimera 3 in the box.
For me it is the best joystick ever and in particular for some games like for example the Jungle/Desert/Urban Strike saga in the Megadrive. I shouldn't tell about a game in particular though, just because I use this joystick as my main one. I just love it and on the contrary, I use other joysticks as a second option only. So, 9,45€ plus sending in the never opened original box THE SELLER HAS MORE IN THE BOX !!! https://www.ebay.es/itm/Joystick-SEG...72.m2749.l2649 Last edited by Retrofan; 13 July 2019 at 04:30. |

Most unintuitive shop ever! I had this query when it first came out. It will only appear in the shop for users that are registered and logged in to the website / shop. Very arse-about-face, but I guess it's because it's a digital download and you'll need an account to download it. I guess it made sense to someone at some point.
Register (or sign in) and then it will appear. |

I picked up a really nice working and boxed Silver Label 64 today and think it may be quite a rare one. I would appreciate opinions and feedback.
After researching it a bit I do think it's genuine, except maybe the box as it says 'Made in England'. What I have established is Serial number is WGB 1617 and has many 82 chips so board may be original Date codes on the chips 6510, is 2284 6526, 1983 and 1783 6581 is 1683 All 3 ROM chips are 1982 PLA is 8307 It has a ceramic Vic II chip dated 0983. Ram chips are mostly 8248 to 8310 (others I cant read) I've taken some pics and which you can see here> [ Show youtube player ] Also I usually heatsink the chips but if this is the 'Real Deal' I'm a bit nervous messing with them. Ideas are welcomed! motherboard is 1983 assy 250407 rev A The keyboard has the orange function keys and the dark querty keys. cheers klokwirk. |

I think the 250407 does not match a silver label - from what I can gather silver label models used the 326298 MB:
https://vintagecomputer.ca/wp-conten...oard-front.jpg Date codes should be 82 or early 83 - yours is in the upper end of that range (not sure if it is too high) except for the CPU which is clearly too new, but it could have been replaced at some point. The silver label models had issues with video noise and so I read that many dealers simply swapped the entire MB with a newer one instead of fixing the old one which is why many genuine silver labels no longer has their original MB. Keyboard looks correct to me. |

Commodore 16 internal ram expansion arriwed. Installed and tested it to works.
Art Effect also arriwed. I think that I woun't ever open that box. Though, base it's weight there is nice manual inside. I bought this because it is still availlable from Alinea and I should have bought it some twenty years ago. Now only 14,95€ Last edited by utri007; 29 July 2023 at 02:21. |

Bought this thing from eBay spare or repairs. Magic smoke escaped from the power supply so that'll need rebuilt but at the very least I have a new wedge to hold the door open....
