Discussion: A Highly Realistic Simulation of Space Joyriding
Title:
A Highly Realistic Simulation of Space Joyriding Genre: Arcade Original concept: Erm, kind of. It's a sort of port of a Flash game I made a few years ago of the same name. Expected game size: How long is a piece of string? It's a score attack game. Initially each game will last a matter of seconds, and as you get used to the controls maybe 2-3 minutes. Team members (Real or forum names): Darkwave Targeted spec: 2Mb ECS 020 Tools to be used:
Description of game: Your spaceship cannot stop. You get points by flying close to asteroids but lose a life if you hit one. Imagine Asteroids, but with no guns and your throttle is stuck on. It plays like that. Other notes: I wasn't sure if I'd enter anything, but after a bout of insomnia while ill I ended up starting this. Hopefully I'll finish, although life is very busy right now. I'm developing on my A600 68030 and just having fun with it. With a bit of luck I'll optimise for A500 after the deadline, but I certainly won't have the time to aim for that spec before the end of February. |
