New IRC servers alive (2008)
Thanks to eLowar work on a new ircd software (InspIRCd), our IRC network is now back and much stronger than before.

That doesn't sound that good reason, comparing to the loss of users who don't bother with private networks (me included). I know it was cool at time to tinker with own servers, but meh, they really didn't succeed...
