Kipper2K A2000 Co-pro Adapter v0.95 Ideal for TF530, A508 Vampire etc
I have a batch of Kipper2K designed adapter boards to allow you to plug a normal DIP64 expansions into the Co-Processor slot of the A2000 (A1500) CN600.
This saves having to remove the drive tray if you want to get access to you CPU board and also you don't need to build a socket tower to get the board over a MegaChip. The adapters are gold plated with beveled edge where it goes into the Slot on the motherboard, also the contact surface of the DIP64 and the two pin header are gold plated. These are brand new Mill-Max Manufacturing Corp and Molex, LLC parts. Depending on the board you are fitting to the adaptor you may need to remove the 68K CPU from your motherboard. I have included a pic of the Max board dimensions that will fit with the case closed. Prices for 1 adapter are as follows: UK Signed 1st Class £16.50 UK Untracked 1st £15.50 EU Tracked £22 EU Untracked £17 USA / Can Tracked £23 USA / Can Untracked £18 For other locations and for example if you you to buy 3 or 5 etc I will calculate a cost. Untracked sent at your risk! I will only except Paypal Gift as this is not a commercial product. TF530, A508 and A5000 seen in pics not included neither is the A2000. You can't close the lid with a Compact flash card in the A508, although Kipper2K is redesigning the A508 with this in mind. I have got permission from Kipper2K to sell these boards. There may be a delay in you getting these boards if demand is faster than I can produce them. Last edited by kgc210; 18 May 2019 at 09:45. Reason: Updated price due to Royal Mail costs |

Just bumping this up due to plasmab is in the process of getting himself an A2000 so compatibility should improve on the TF530 boards running in an A2000.
Also timtheloon gave a nice mini review of my board on AmiBay http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...l=1#post872758 |

I won't be making one of them sorry.
I can't see there being enough demand to warrant the expense. |
