Hi,
I have a 4000 that I got and changed power supply and it lives sorta of.
Does it matter what number on the kick start chip goes in what socket?
The reason I ask is i get the mouse pointer with the clock like symbol on it
I have new kick start chips coming from Amigakit
Thanks need a few pointers here

Yes, the two Kickstart ROMs need to be in the correct sockets. It won't damage anything if they are swapped, but when the system tries to access them the data will be scrambled and the Amiga will not boot at all.
