Amiga 2000 with Flaky Controller Ports: Help Needed

My A2000's controller ports aren't working properly. The mouse does not track in port 1, but both mouse buttons work. A joystick plugged into port two has no response on the y-axis, though both the x-axis and fire button work.

What components on a rev. 6 motherboard are the likely culprits? I have already ruled out Paula and the CIA chips by swapping in known good chips.

Check that port 1 gets 5V in the Vcc pin and then check/swap U202

Sometimes it's even more simple: Check the ports themselves for broken pin-to-mainboard connections. I had this with an A2000 Rev. 6 with the mouse port - one of the connections inside the 9-pin d-sub connector was broken and caused the x-axis (or maybe the y-axis, cannot remember) not to work.

So, a quick update! The problem has been found, and I jerry-rigged a workaround. There is this fuse (component labeled F1) on the +5V line going to the ports. Said fuse was blown. My work-around was to short across the fuse, and make a note to not touch the controller ports while power is being supplied to the Amiga.

The classic problem. Do you have all directions in both ports now though?

Yup, the mouse works fine, and the joystick problem was due to my SEGA Genesis pad not wanting to go into the socket firmly. An extension cable fixed that.
