A500 Keyboard as an external keyboard

I'm wondering if the pinout from the A500 keyboard is the same as the pinout for the amiga keyboard connector on the likes of the CD32. Given the price and general unavailability of amiga keyboards I'm thinking this might be a cheap option if the pinout is the same and it would just be a matter of putting a different connector on the end. OK I'd need to come up with a housing but that's easy, I could make it from acrylic or MDF.

Yes, the protocol is the same. Match up vcc, gnd, clk, dat. Keyboard reset will not work unless you remove transistor Q1, but this might not work with all models of the keyboard.
