Ok, let's see what we 'do' know about this...
Game: Wilbert's Winter Wonderland (aka "Magic Forest 3") Author: Aaron Fothergill Label: Shadow Software Disk Info: Deja Vu AMOS Licenceware #63 Reviews: Amiga Power 14 (Jun 1992). Reviewed by Stuart Campbell. It was given a rating of 2/5 Deja Vu Owner (as of 1992): Sandra Sharkey Deja Vu Address (as of 1992): 25 Park Road, Wigan, Lancs, WN6 7AA Deja Vu Tel No (as of 1992): 0942 495261 Further reading... Aaron and Adam Fothergill's web site: http://www.strangeflavour.com/index.html Unfortunately neither of the above have a copy of the game in their collection. Screenshot (linked from the AmigaPD interview with Aaron and Adam)... I'm sure in my searches yesterday I found the name of the lady who ran Deja Vu, but I can't find the info now. What now? I've got a few avenues to go from here. I could send a letter to the Deja Vu address and see if I get anything that way. I could also drop Stuart Campbell an email to see if he still has the disk. It's unlikely he does, but worth a try. Any other suggestions or people/places to try, please let me know. Cheers! Last edited by roberthazelby; 29 November 2012 at 11:05. |

Sandra Shakey...? (I think Amigapd mentioned this)
Most of the Licenseware companies just seem to have disappeared into thin air - there is very little about them, or any other Amiga PD companies on the net at all. Last edited by Peter; 28 November 2012 at 21:36. |

Thanks guys! I've added Sandra's details to my info post.
Now, before I attempt to send a letter to the old Deja Vu address, has anyone already done this? I don't want to waste my time if they have. |

OK. I've just dropped Stuart Campbell an email.
I'm sure he doesn't have this in his collection, but it doesn't hurt to ask. |

OK. After a bit of digging I think I've found Sandra on Friends Reunited.
I've dropped her a message, so keep those fingers crossed! |

Apologies for the lack of updates here. Just before Christmas I experienced "the joys" of redundancy, so have been spending much of my time job hunting.
I think I'm now sorted, so I may have some more time to continue with my investigations. I can update you a little, though. With regards to Friends Reunited, I've had no reply from Sandra via this method. It's looking like a dead end here. Looking on 192.com, without an account, it looks like Sandra has moved. I 'think' I've found where to, but will need to look into how much credits cost to purchase before I can view the full address details. Does anyone here have a full 192.com account? |

Timelord has mentioned in a number of threads that he has a massive collection of PD titles. I've asked him if he could have a rummage through that lot and report back.
Keep those fingers crossed! |

Slightly off-topic:
I was going through various adventure games and books, starting from the ZX Spectrum, when I came across a pdf book called Adventures on the Spectrum (Mike Gerrard) and upon reading it, I saw this: Quote:
Anyhow - that's another mystery on my part from the past and confirms I'm not going senile just yet so... ...back on topic: Has there been any further developments? Would be great for this game to be uncovered. |
