Weird idea?
Since now you can plug your Amiga into an LCD screen, I was wondering if that could improve game under Amiga.
The idea is to have an LCD that can be rotated so you'll have the vertical and horizontal flipped. That way you could have more sprite per line, resolution like arcade maybe with 256*320 etc. Horizontal scrolling will be vertical so easier to code... What do you think? Kamelito |

You also may need to flip controls.

Yes, I thought of the idea of having a TATE game, like a shooter.
Thing is, the Amiga seems better designed for vertical scrolling than it is for horizontal. So yeah I asked here about this about a year ago. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=80074 I don't think your assumptions of sprite per line apply. |

About sprites it will possible to have more horizontally but only in a 256*128 for example. (if I count well and without copper tricks)
