I think that it's time to add a little update
Following games can be removed from the problem list: Alien Storm Crackdown (there is a small problem with pause option but it will be fixed soon- I hope ) Future Basketball Theatre of Death I have tested all the titles above on my setup, and all games work without problems. Most of the update is already available on the WHDLoad page. A Big thanks to the whole WHDLoad team, especially Abaddon and CFou for their hard work! Unfortunately, there are a few new titles to be added to the problem list. 4th & Inches- gfx errors in the game Enchanted Land -gfx errors in the game Side Arms -gfx errors in the game EDIT:One title removed and another title added. This is not a 040 only problem and I know about it, I didn't find the reason for these problems yet though. Also, it's better to open a bug report on Mantis for these issues as otherwise it is quite possible the errors won't be noticed.

To the new titles, long time ago I have already informed the relevant slave developers via PM or via Mantis Bug Tracker about mentioned problems (and I have not forgotten you, too ) |

I belive that not every game listed here (or the most?) aren`t work because of a 68040. However, its good to discuss/confirm problems on games so we can make a proper bugreport at whdload mantis bugtracker.

If you still know a few other problem titles, you can tell about it here or in The WHDLoad 68040 users group. Thus, all other active users could help with a solution. |

I'm afraid I cannot edit the original post anymore so if a GM could kindly do the honours and update the list using Irek's post above that would be appreciated

Questron II . Can't get it to work with blizzard PPC/040. Tried nocache, noautovec, and few others. OS 3.9 BB2 (3.1 on ROM and kicked with blizkick too).

I can confirm it. After the start the game crashes with an error on my set up as well. Then I tried to start the game with a NOMMU option and it worked without any problems. There are some games which only work with this option without problems on 040 CPU. Here are some of them listed : The WHDLoad 68040 Users Group |

Just tested it and it works fine on my setup now, thanks a lot. BTW: A few years ago I made a few icons for this game, if someone wants them, he can use it. |

Well, it has been a while since I posted something so I think it is time for a little update.
Following titles can be removed from the 040 CPU “black list”: 4th & Inches Crackdown Monster Business I hope that one of the global moderators can take care of this. Thanks in advance. Unfortunately, a title must be added to the list of issues: Chambers Of Shaolin:endless loop after the Thalion Intro. Of course, I tested all the mentioned titles on my setup and all the games worked without any problems on my 040 Blizzard. A big thanks to the WHDLoad team. Especially to Abaddon and StingRay for their work. Last edited by Irek´72; 01 October 2016 at 23:19. |

I played some time on 040 and didn`t noticed any problems so far. Version 1.2 (11.01.2016), no special tooltypes used.

Well, maybe that's "just" a Blizzard problem. It would not be the first game that works fine with an Apollo card, and it does not work with a blizzard the other way around.
I definitely tried it with different versions of WHDLoad and some tool types but unfortunately always with the same result. |

I have an Amiga 4000D with Commodore 040@25.
I have installed and tried many WHDload games. For example, Lotus 3 doesn't work properly. It always quits to DOS while level is loading. (Expection on instruction stream or something like that.. ) There are quite a many games which do have graphics corruption and/or slowdown to a small degree. |
