Located in "Bourg la reine": the name of this town always make me smile. Literally "Queensbourough" but sounds like "Shag the queen" in french.
Pierre Adane is probably one of the reasons the arcade ports weren't all crap on Amiga. |

Great news of course, but I should point out that the former Ocean France guys weren't responsible for the Amiga version of Mr Nutz. That was by Neon Software and is very different to the SNES game.

Yes it was a totally different universe than in the SNES GAME. It seems that they have leave their rights to do an Amiga conversion ( like as it will be Mr Nutz II ). But the graphical touch is not here, in my opinion. Gameplay is quite good but the "world of chicken" stopped me

I was disappointed by the amiga version of Mr Nutz (that I had bought), but the SNES version looks awesome with all those colors. The graphist did a hell of a job.
I like when he compares SNES <=> megadrive like Amiga <=> Atari. He was saying that after doing the 256 color version of the SNES, he had to rework all graphics manually for the megadrive version (64 colors only) The difference with Atari / Amiga versions is that developpers often did the Atari version first, then ... didn't bother expanding the colors for the Amiga, which explains we have so many 16 color games... |

I guess I'll have to try the SNES one too
![]() Looking around the internets, it turns out that Mr Nutz for Amiga was a completely different game (originally named Timet The Flying Squirrel) but Ocean decided to publish it under the Mr Nutz series and asked the Devs to replace the character with Mr Nutz, which had recently came out on the SNES. That explains why the games feel so dissimilar ![]() |

"Timet the Flying Squirrel", yeah I can understand they wanted to change that name. The first thing that pops into my head when I see that name is that it is an educational game for small kids.

And memory.
But if it’s not for the Amiga, I’m not interested. |
