No tips from me, sorry This isn't my area of expertise.
Just a general hint though when it comes to grabbing scores (if you're playing on a real Amiga). There surprisingly isn't a high score table in this one, so when all your lives have gone you'll need to take a picture of the screen when you die. However, to stop the score from disappearing, it seems you can still pause the game with P even after your last life is lost, so nobody should have any problems capturing their score. |

Wow this port sucked a lot more than I remembered. Good old US Gold. Forgotten how frustrating it was when you get stuck in cycle where you just get punched to death. Already damaged my desk lol

Shit, my WHDLoad version has no intro music? ... I don't have the latest version linked here but I no longer have the means to transfer new files to my Amiga
I can still play it though, the sound effects still work |

Yeh pretty easy to get "stuck" on the ami version.. at least on the coin-op you could spam Hagar's spinning fist but I don't think this move even made it to amiga Last edited by vagrant; 29 February 2016 at 13:12. |

I don't think you will be wrong there lol. Why does everyone keep voting for bad or frustrating games. And I forget to enter my price of Persia score. Though would have only been 1 point |

Remember what part enemies hone in and trap you. And make sure your not in the same position on your next playthrough. Sometimes your trapped as soon as you enter a new level. So move quickly. I hold a move direction while the level is loading so I know my character moves as soon as the level starts. |

Ok, so really enjoying this game now Actually gets much easier as you go through the game weirdly, especially as some levels have loads of food on them.
I get the impression there are loads of big hitters just waiting to get some huge scores in and blow us all away. Not sure if this a good score but I am pretty happy with it 131,700 |

I really can't understand either. I also will never understand why computer games (like Amiga ones) didn't save hi-scores as standard. I'm glad games like Pinball Dreams did it, but, really, every game that can do it easily should do it. I understand console games not doing it, but why computer games? |

I just got the new WHDLoad slave by JOTD, and am right now trying to play this.... thing.
I really feel like skipping this round. For Christ sake, this is awful. From all the awesome arcade ports for Amiga, how the heck we ended up playing this piece of garbage? Really, I just can't understand how people can say "Oh, Amiga Final Fight is a nice game", "Oh, I really loved it back at the time". What the hell, this is really, really bad. Did people had to choose between playing this or being electrocuted on the tongue? Because that's the only way I may think "Oh, it's not that bad!" about Amiga Final Fight . And even then, I dunno, maybe getting electric shocks on the tongue may be fun? I guess it wouldn't last as long as infinite cycles of being raped by 2 frames of animation enemies on corners while YOU CAN'T $@!*$!& DO ANYTHING but watch your character doing all kinda of funny faces. It's not just a bad port job, it's an awful game all together. Super Street Fighter 2 was a bad port, but still was a good game. Final Fight is utterly crap. I really thought about making a list of bad things about this game like I did with Roadkill, but I believe there's a limit on how many characters a post may have, and I believe I would reach it. Maybe I can try to list all good things about the game: Done. That's what's good about the game. This is really, really horrible. I don't know if I can stand such torture for too long. MY SCORE IS 164850
- Just Kidding . But I wish we could play this version... it's still a bad port, but so much better than amiga one (I was playing it here, because my friend saw me playing the Amiga version, he didn't know the game but know Capcom, and was like "Capcom? Wow?", and then I wanted to show him a better version of the game ) |

All this talk of ports just makes me sad that leathered never got to finish his version
I was gutted with the gameplay back in the day because I was such I massive fan of the coin-op.. mainly due to the missing moves & combos. The snes versions were just rubbing salt in the wound.. Looking at it now I will say "It's not that bad" There are many amiga beat 'em ups that are much worse imo. Still would love to see a version utilize AGA, faster cpu & more memory. |
