Looking for Scene (Tile Map) Editor for use with Turbo Plus extension/Amos
Hi everyone.
I managed to find the great Turbo Plus extension for Amos Pro, and aside from its general greatness for improving game performance and blitting speeds, it has great and more optimized tile map support... BUT there was a separate program called the Turbo Scene Editor which was used to edit and save tile maps that the Turbo Plus extension could load and display. So far, we've only been able to find a cripple-ware demo version with save disabled. Does anyone have the full version handy? Thanks. |

Hello. Sorry to dig up such an old post. I was searching for the Turbo Plus Scene Editor and found this post.
I am the original author of the Turbo Scene Editor for AMOS Pro. I wrote it years (and YEARS) ago. Ryan Scott helped me expand it somewhat and he then went on to publish it in his newsletter (Playfield!). He also told me it was published in an European Amiga magazine but I do not remember the name. I still have the original disk along withe the issue of Playfield! talking about it. But I would love to find the magazine it was listed in along with any online information about it. Take care! |
