my prog gets slower and slower
Hi,
what bug could this be? When I quit my program and start it again, it gets slower from one run to the next one. But this only with FS-Uae. I checked libs and tasks with scout an nothing of them remains after closing. I have just one idea: memory fragmentation. If this is it, I implement mempool usage for allocating all the objects of the GUI. The slowness appears when I move the knob of the custom prop-gadget. No allocations done while doing this. Therefore I doubt that it is memory fragmentation. Last edited by AGS; 18 March 2015 at 16:46. |

memory fragmentation doesn't normally affect speed on an Amiga.. In an emulator, on the other hand, all sorts of bugs could cause something like that..

It depends how FS-UAE works. Maybe each time you run your program FS-UAE reserves more memory to be used for running your program on the emulator. Is there any way you can monitor the memory amount used by FS-UAE, or perhaps the emulators CPU usage??
