A600HD epic Bundle
Can anyone remember whether Rome or Myth were HD Installable with the Epic bundle?
I know Epic, Trivial Pursuit and AmigaText were but I can't remember if the others could be Installed. |

I thought it was but I still can't remember if it was HD only or both.
Some cracked disks have the Installer on disk2, some boot from floppy only and the IPF I have found has some kind of disk backup on disk2 ![]() EDIT: Looking at hol it seems that the version that came free with the A600 wasn't HD Installable and there was another version with disk#1 install on it Last edited by Arnie; 19 October 2014 at 21:35. |

HOL is wrong. This version is HD only. Disk version is different.

I had the Epic pack back in the day, as Don_Adan says Rome was HD installable - Myth definitely was not.

I have found the skidrow cracked version that installs to HD. The installer is a little strange as every time you load the next disk you have to specify the destination folder. Also you start the installer from disk2 then swap to disk1, then back to disk 2 and finally disk3.
I doubt the original version did this. Can anyone confirm? |

Ahh the Epic bundle... my first Amiga!
Epic, Rome and Trivial Pursuit were HD installable - and had to be installed IIRC. They were specially produced for that bundle in a way which meant they didn't work off disk - annoying when you consider the HD supplied was a paltry 20MB in size which was barely enough for Workbench and those games to fit! ![]() Myth was the only one not to be HD installable. |

Got hold of an original version from the Epic Bundle. The Installer is on disk1 and you only need to specify the destination folder if it is more than one dir, e.g Work:Rome is O.K.
