Road Rash (Atari ST) Rare
I have the AMIGA version already on proper and the MD version on ROM but I would like to give the ST version a spin.
Problem is this game is so rare that I can't find a TooSec ROM dump at all, not even the latest version has it. Can somebody dump it here for us? Otherwise it looks like I'm out of luck. Thanks in advance. |

Irrespective of the information you've got, it was simply never released on ST.
It was bloody awful on Amiga |

mobygames is absolutely chock full of errors.
edit: and even more so when it comes to the ST. I've seen a few titles on there listed for the ST when in fact an ST version never existed. And suprisingly they have no scans or screenshots of the ST version....I wonder why.....? |

I think all versions of Road Rash are good, even Amiga and GameBoy, but sequels for Mega Drive are boring.

http://www.mobygames.com/game/atari-st/road-rash
At the bottom: "Errors and omissions on this page may be reported to the MobyGames approvers." This site seems to claim it exists (although the screenshot is just a thumbnail and could come from any version): http://www.vintageatari.com/stgames....rsgame2600=293 Not sure how much it can be trusted. Atari Legend (that I trust) has nothing on Road Rash. So: - either there is indeed a release but it is a very secret one (doubtful) - or, more probably, it was listed in some magazines as a forthcoming release or an early preview version was reviewed and some people have based their belief on a released version on this and relayed it over the Internet |

The thumbnail on that ST page looked like the SMS version, and sure enough if you look on mobygames (which does have it uses) you can see the exact same screenshot.

True. Seems like a 100% match of the Close encounter screenshot, although much more blurred when zoomed in (which is suspicious for a PNG file).

The blurred zoomed image is still a nasty Firefox bug.
