Indivision AGA 1200 and FastATA 1200 - fitty or pity?
Can I have em both in a normal A1200 case? I doubt it, but .. :blase
I'm currently bidding on an A1200 with FastATA1200 and Towerhawk A1200... I'm thinking about only taking the motherboard and the fastata... Is it worth to have a Towerhawk 1200 ex? It's quite big |

@8bitbubsy
you will need risers on the FastATA, I would suggest gold turned pins, these will offer less electrical resitance, a firm fit and the height you need to just go over the top of the indivision. heres what they look like theres a huge bunch here £6.89 (inc postage) although those are 40 way (you will need for each rom socket) you get 15 of them, thats enough to do 7 and a half A1200's =) what ever you do avoid the following like the plague! those leaf type sockets wont hold the weight of the Fast ATA and dont fit properly in the Rom Sockets! |
