This game looks nice. Is is really hard to patch this one for WHDLoad?
![]() Damn it, one of Galahad's lost slaves (50% ready). Will you try it again...someday? ![]() |

The 4 protection checks in this game are rather useless. I also know "someone" who converted all binary files to standard Amiga DOS executables since game has "hidden" relocation info.

Important message to Galahad & Stingray:
At the request of alots of WHDLoad users registered, I did some research to see the real difficulty of the work to be done to make the WHDLoad patch for Treasure Trap I was badly surprised because there was no particuly difficulty for this job: - Filesystem classic DOS Emeralds track - Some protection Speedlocks very easy to remove In a few hours, without realizing it, I almost finished the patch for two versions of the game! while losing a lot of time to decrypt the protection code SpeedLock for fun when it is not used for the patch. It is unimaginable and unacceptable after so long a simple patch to write is not released ... As a result, I believe (as many users) that courtesy is between developers WHDLoad is no longer set .... I stop temporary my job (just at the end of this week.) But if neither Stingray and Galahad have released the patch, I finish my patch because I do not have much work to do to finish the WHDLoad archive and released Hoping that you will understand my position, Friendly, BertranS/CFou! I think a lot of WHDLoad users can understand your position CFOU. I really hope that Galahad will be fine with handing this one over to either you or StingRay

I'm really surprised by this comment. CFou requested the original less than 2 days ago and I sent it, and he's gotten the game working already. That conflicts completely with the comments above. CFou is clearly a better coder!
![]() This patch deserves to be released NOW, people have waited since at least 2008, and CFou's completed it. If WHDLoad installers sit on a game for too long and can't make progress, it's only fair to let someone else complete it. I had no time to work on Ghosts'n'Goblins and happily handed over all my source to CFou who completed it quickly. Surely this is the best way to go forward? CFou: Please release the game as is! |
