I still think there should be a real Windows app with proper LZX support. One with a friendly GUI too.

I just wish WinRAR would actually just cram LZX support into their next release!

BTW, if Amiga DirOpus can examine LZXs, then can the Windows version also?

I contacted the author of WinRAR and gave him the source code to LZX but he said that he had no plans to incorporate it.

Perhaps if enough people bugged him, perhaps providing alternate source code for him to paruse?

Why, Alex? The Total Commander with the lzx plugin is easy to handle.

Personally, this was the first time I noticed any of the TC plugins..... Since I use TC for "everything" the LZX plugin (along with the ADF and ISO) is invaluable to me.

I can't stand explorer, it's to awkward to do any serious filemanagement with it to be worth the hassle. And TC is probably the best thing after DOpus you can get, IMO..... and since I can't buy DOpus..... (I mean, I'm out of work, which means no money, a DOpus for Windows runs out of time after a month...... you see where I'm going, I hope)

I've unpacked hundreds of lzx archives with no errors. I can't confirm any bugs.
